Collaboration – Creation – Sustainability
As the architectural landscape of Western Vietnam undergoes a powerful transformation toward modernity and resilience, the networking event between the Can Tho Architects Association and Viglacera on December 6 created an inspiring forum for professional exchange. This gathering allowed architects, experts, and industry leaders to evaluate the current state of construction materials in the region while opening new directions for the future.
Viglacera introduced the SACMI CONTINUA (+) technology combined with AI-driven surface replication, representing a significant leap for the Vietnamese material industry. This technology allows for the deep simulation of natural stone textures and structures while optimizing energy consumption and reducing emissions during production. This foundation ensures that Vietnamese materials meet international standards while remaining perfectly suited to the local soil, climate, and application needs of Western Vietnam.
Architects from Can Tho provided practical insights regarding material requirements for residential projects, urban architecture, infrastructure, and commercial developments. These perspectives reflect real market demands and help define the role of new materials in building a sustainable, modern living environment that respects the distinctive characteristics of the Mekong Delta's water-based culture.
Concluding the event, all parties reached a consensus on a long-term collaborative vision aimed at the widespread application of next-generation materials in local projects. This partnership is expected to enhance Can Tho’s urban landscape—making it more modern, convenient, and resilient—while inspiring sustainable development throughout the entire Mekong Delta region.
