PORTRAIT OF THE CHAMPIONS: CELEBRATING THE VISIONARY WINNERS OF THE "NEXT TOUCH 2025" DESIGN COMPETITION

A creative journey connecting generations, where materials become the language of emotion. As a highlight of the "Touch Pavilion" series initiated by Viglacera, this competition serves as a creative playground for the younger generation. It encourages students to explore the intricate relationship between material, emotion, and space, thereby spreading the spirit of innovation, cultural identity, and sustainable values in contemporary architecture.

On the afternoon of October 31, 2025, at ConsHub – National Convention Center, Viglacera and ConsMedia co-hosted the special Final Round of the "Next Touch 2025" rapid design competition. This event marked the emotional conclusion of a creative journey for talented students from three of Vietnam's leading architectural and design institutions: Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), Hanoi University of Architecture (HAU), and Hanoi Open University (HOU).

A JOURNEY TO THE PINNACLE OF CREATIVITY

Following a series of intense and highly technical presentations, the Organizing Committee announced the final results, honoring the standout faces who conquered the Jury with their unique creative thinking, sincere emotions, and ability to transform raw materials into a compelling design language.

"Thạch Tâm Hành" left a profound impression with its philosophical concept: "The journey of stone, from the earth to the heart of a space." Drawing inspiration from the triangular structure—a symbol of stability—the student team perfectly captured the spirit of "nature's original touch," reconnecting humans with the roots of emotion and material.

Project: Hồn Rông (The Soul of the Rông House) Taking inspiration from the traditional Rông House of the Central Highlands, this work represents a "cultural touch" rich in identity. Here, materials do not merely create an exhibition space but become a communal meeting point, harmonizing people and nature within a unified whole.

FIRST PRIZE – Faculty of Interior Design, Hanoi University of Architecture

Project: Hiên Pavilion (The Veranda Pavilion) Inspired by the traditional Vietnamese "Hiên" (veranda), this pavilion offers a sophisticated transitional space between the interior and exterior, the traditional and the contemporary. It is a "touch of memory," where visitors can sense the movement of light, material, and nature in every detail.

AMPLIFYING CREATIVITY AND VIETNAMESE MATERIALS

Viglacera extends its warmest congratulations to all individuals, teams, and universities that participated in the "Next Touch 2025" journey.
